i cant believe i nearly forgotten about my birthday! a week before my birthday, my dad told us about the plan for dinner on thursday, which is a day before my birthday. then i asked him ''why are we suddenly going out for dinner?'' ''its your birthday dinner'' and i was like OHYAAAAAA HORRR!
i've never forgotten about my birthday ever beforeeeee, this is definitely a first.
and then, i thought nobody in G3 knows about my birthday. even if they do, i didnt exactly think they'll do anything for me, maybe just wish me happy birthday thats all. i suppose i was wrong.
since friday was eve-deepavali holiday and it so happened to be my birthday that day, they gave me the presents on thursday during classes. each person took turns to approach me and hand me my presents one at a time, first it was joanne giving me an empty box with a note written ''wondering why the box is empty? think harder'', then it was steph yeap giving me another present after the first lecture, followed by jennie, elsie, avril and meiyan in the subsequent periods. so for each period i get an extra present to put into the magical box. *feels like grocery shopping hahaa* by the end of the day, the box was filled to the brim and i thought that was it but no! when i was packing to go home, jillian suddenly handed me a nerdy yet cute bear with A20 stuck onto its head. hahhaa, so cuteee!
i shall have a month long supply of snacks for my studies! by then, i'll be fat =O but its okaay, its worth it :)
and this is my first time getting flowers for my birthday. during break, brian and bruce gave me two flowers (which is nicely put in a glass now) and i was really quite touched. thank you.
the idea was very thoughtful and sweet, thanks joanne and jillian for all the effort behind planning all these. i know jillian put aside her homework to do all these things for me, im really appreciative of this and am very grateful also. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
later that evening, i had my IMU interview *potong betul* my whole family, including my sister, accompanied me there. my sister accompanied me to the interview room and when she saw these two indian guys who were my interviewers, she quickly told me who they were and asked me to remember their names. but heck la, their names are like sooo long how to remember? so i just said ''hi sir'' :P
half way through the interview, i mentioned that i have a sister in imu doing USMLE now and one of the guys went ''nowonder so well-rehearsed''. i sound well-rehearsed not because my sister is there okay, its because ive been through 4 interviews before -_-.
first time in the interview i was struggling to stay awake instead of feeling nervous.
later that night, after jamming all the way to Shangri La Hotel, we finally reached our desired desination - Lemon Garden. i cant believe i actually got to dine in there, i've been dreaming about going there eversince my sister went there in Feb? i just said LEMON GARDEN and my dad took it for real xP!
the interior was very nice, and the garden is quite scenic also. Lemon Garden is an eat all you can buffet which is slightly pricey but the food is sheer awesome! my dad had some platinum card that gave us 33.3333333% discount for 3 of us, while my dad orderd ala carte. so it was reeeally worth the price!
me and jie
that place was a food paradise literally. they had chinese, japanese, malay, indian, western, cheese and lamb, itallian, fruits and desert booth, i wasss likeeee O_______O to the max. after one round of introduction by my sister, we started taking the food, all in a uber small portion because there were simply to many to choose from ! we started with western, then i went for chinese, then japanese, next itallian, indian and finally desert! sad to say i didnt touch the malays.
Italian booth
that's not pineapple kay, that's cheese.
western booth
japanese booth
my sister and mom took opportunity to take the expensive ones like sushii with caviar on it and soup with abalon and sea cucumber while me? LOL, i went to take ''ha gao'' and ''fried wantan'' from the chinese booth because i felt like eatin them -_- my sister was like ''Hagao u go dim sum there only rm2.50 and the fried wantan easily rm2 only, why take all the cheap ones!'' end up, i didnt eat them :'(
and then i took like 3 lobsters from the japanese booth and i thought the sauce given was like some normal sauce, so i took alot, only to realized it was tabasco. YUCK! so i went to the western booth to take their brown sauce instead, yummy :D damn jakun.
mouth full full ask me smile for the camera.
family potrait :D blur one.
after god knows how many rounds of taking and eating and eating and eating, it was time for desert! strawberry coated with choc is GOD-LIKE. first time chocolate and milk fondue free flow, it was sheer bliss *holy light shining upon me now*
first time i took a few strawberry plus other fruits, dipped them in the choc fountain and placed it on my table, went back for a second time to take more deserts and when i came back. the choc-coated fruits were goneeee! so i went to take again, this time taking MORE. its damn awesome la, the sight of the deserts so properly arranged in the shelf was like sooooo niceeee to seeeee, but the desert was just average. *for display purposes only*
drool.
drooool.
droooooool.
DROOoooooooL kao kao.
by the end of the night, we were stonning only. because we were just too full and cuz of that, i felt really sleepy. but still, we had to take some fruits because the jambu is sooo BIG. my mom said it's expensive jambu, so must take.
turned out the bill wasnt as flying high as expected, infact its considered quite cheap already for the food, definitely worth going again when im richer :D
then on the actual day itself which was friday, the whole day was quite bland till night when my bosom secondary school friends celebrated my birthday for me. after some alterations on planning, they decided to have it at my house.
suppose to be a last minute surprise thingy for me i think, but when siewming called to ask my mom if they could come to my house without having the chance to say ''DONT TELL HUEI-WEN'', my mom was already shouting and asking me if its okay for them to come. HAHA. i was wondering, why must siewming call my mom and not me directly?xD
at 7+, they all came and we waited for quite awhile for qingxian to plan further. haha my mom actually overheard qingxian talking on the phone in the bathroom! so she didnt rush into the bathroom to pee actually. then huiling came and did the exact same thing- run into the bathroom, this time really to pee HAHA.
alina and tse wei were late because they had to bring the cake to my house, and they insist to turn off the lights and not let me see the cake despite me already seeing them walking in with the cake xD. funny la jyyyee, she kept wanting to take my picture, but she was actually trying to cover my eyes with her camera! HAHAH, too bad its my house, they dunno which switch to turn the lights off HAHA.
they sang me a birthday song, i cut the cake, took some pictures in the kitchen and my mom's ''cheese' and 'konica!'' made us laugh like what only. they gave me lucky stars and body shop shampoo, loves!
the lucky stars glows in the dark.
LOL
first time sitting in alina's car, it was quite stable what :P we went to eat at Mama's kitchen, it was like some chinese coffee shop restaurant. then we saw some other seniors from bu4, though i dunno them. and they sang me a birthday song again, i felt quite sheepish and attempted to sing along with them to make it sound like it was someone else birthday, but HAIZ, when they reach the ''Happy birthday to HUEI-WEN!'' then cannot hide adi -_-''
then afterthat, we went to qingxian house and started playing with candles. LOL i know, lantern festival is like over okay but it was fun. our love was damn distorted at first, after adjusting and whats not, it became beaaauti-ful. took opportunity to take some pictures with the candles, its something i've never done in years.
i likey :D
though the cake tasted funny *my dad claimed there's liquor in it*, its the thought that really counts :D
going out with my secondary school friends was worth the time, i enjoyed every moment with them :D
OHYA you wanna know what my mom said about YOU GUYS *sec friends*? she said she felt like she was in PASAR PAGI. and the way we laugh and talk at the same time is ''hong bou'' *cantonese- terrifying*
lastly, thank you to all that have wished me regardless of whether it was via FB, SMS, call, face to face, MSN or blogs. it really means alot to me. im so happy that my birthday this year was a euphoric one, i really never expected anything. thank you from the bottom of my heart.

people who derive pleasure by inflicting pain on others are a bunch of sore losers.
you know what? you should just go eat grass or something if you're really bored out of your wits! at least you're doing something beneficial to the environment, you stupid.
and hello? dont go making fun of people to fulfil your UNDESERVING needs because that aint cool okay??? its not trendy, its DAMN LAME, damn despicable, damn stupid, damn atrociously a moron, not like you're not already one.
i hate people like this, no correction, i DESPISE people like this. they freakingly make me loathe like shit, because when i see them, i see shit now.
if you intend to continue doing what you intend to do, then kudos, you're the most nonsensical creature i've ever came across in my life.
two words for you : SHIT YOU for making people sad.
G3-ians, dont terasa, its not you, nor you, nor you.
i figure if i dont start blogging about this, i'll never do so.
on the 26th of Sept, brian, jillian and i went for the Taylor's Asaban Festival afternoon session. being a person who knows nuts about animes and doujinshi and those sorts, i went there just for fun, killing the rest of my holidays and making it more bountiful *because i realize that that would be the only few days left i get to actually have fun without any worries lingering in my mind*
the was the first ever japanese festival i've been to, and just to suit the theme of the day, me and jillian pakated to wear an oufit similar to the theme. i think mine was quite nice, totally a maid outfit as seen in animes and all? i dunno i havent been watching ever since form 2 but i suppose it made it right? HAHA brian was quite co-operative at least :D
reminisce a little on the past ol rite? i still remember i used to be an anime fanatic when i was in form1-form2. i was practically in an anime marathon during the year end holidays in form 1, devouring on really old but nice animes like Fushigi Yuugi, DN angel, Samurai deeper kyo, Yami no Matsuei, maburaho, innuyasha, a pokemon anime i still remember but lack to recall the name... i used to sign up for anime sites to get hold of anime wallpapers because some drawers out there are just so talented, cant help but to appreciate their art. and during form 2 or form 3 i still watched a little, albeit to a very much smaller extent because i got tired of waiting in vain for these animes to load. i still watched tsubasa chronicles, oaran high school host club, xxx holic, bleach during those days, although of course i didnt managed to reach the end for some of them. i still have prince of tennis in my CD compartment, but i know i'll never set eyes on it anymore for many of the CDs were either missing, or amiss.
*pictures are taken from ik shawn who is the photographer of anime club after seeking his permission, the rest are from jillian's camera*
so of course i'll look like a complete noob in such events right? but it was nice for me, the whole event was JAPANESE-LIKE. durh. they sold anime boards, some pretty posters and drawings, and OMG HOW CAN THEY DRAW SO EXQUISITELY! for me, it was hallelujah for i cant draw for nuts, honestly. it wasnt one, or two, but a whole collection of beautiful explicit drawings. if i could, i would look at them for ages.
though i wasnt into anime and all, i found a penchant in appreciating the art, the beautiful characters with their long wavy hair and extravagant outfit and colours. and plus their big, round boobs. OH MY, its just quite hard to keep my eyes off them right? haha, i mean, keep my eyes off the whole drawing.
there was this cosplay cafe, apparently it would be a dream to savour every moment in it? haha, the feeling was quite special, with cosplayers serving us and specials menus with, again, big boobs girls in it xD
and yes there were quite a number of cosplayers that day, either to just dress to the theme, to join competitions, to have fun, or simply to fulfill obligations. ahh how i wish i have a cosplay outfit too! it'll be nice to join in the fun! i can see the cosplayers were having much fun, dancing to the rhythm and all.
there were figurines too, and they were really beautifully crafted. even i can enjoy such art, HAH! its the details that make it so beautiful, its like its a captured-moment of the characters doing their respective stuff, if u get what i mean.
there were alot of events that day, like the cosplay competition and the singing competition. i heard the devil may cry guy (the guy with blue outfit and white hair) won the cosplay competion and another woman with good showmanship won the singing competition. there was also other competitions like Weiss Schwarz tournament, but we went home before that.
there were bands too jamming their music. surprisingly i knew some of the songs but i couldnt recall to which anime the songs belong to. i was a little bit bored towards the end, for as i say, im not into these things so perhaps people with a better knowledge of all these will appreciate this even more, like jillian and brian :D
the highlights of the day? going around the hall taking pictures with cosplayers :D it was just like a ''hey, can we take a picture with you'' kind of affair, at least its an experience!! and thanks ik shawn for the AWESOME pictures, one day i'll get a DSLR camera too! *when im richer*
and i actually ran all the way to that one cosplayer, and ask him to go all the way back to where we were initially to take picture. he's my dream guy with the mask HAHAH.
then there was this phototaking booth for free, so we jakun jakun go there take picture, some using the nice camera :D
went 1u with rachel lim qiu qhen. havent seen her in ages!! managed to catch up abit on each other's life. i accompanied her shopping. haha and i learned a new word from her- if the clothes aint looking that good, i mean just average, then ''ngek'' is the word to use. ROFL, a little bit better than average is..... ''ngeee-ehhhh!'' hahah, imagine that man, i cant spell it out right.
initially plan to watch a movie, but she has watched all the nice movies and there werent much options left, so we opt for shopping. something pleasant, i did not spend anything on clothes that day! because...too expensive, need my parents :D
glad to say that rachel bought a dress that she really likes after much persuasion and hesitation, and Aldo lost one costumer that day for not having a new pair of sandals she likes :D she brought me to practically all the branded goods place i really seldom go alone and thanks to her, i discovered a new place in 1u i never knew exist. serious!
Thursday
went out with steph yeap, joanne, and brian to curve. brian damn za dou, he came to curve one hour earlier, so i left house 15 minutes earlier to accompany him, while joanne was 15 minutes late and steph, lagi no need say, she joined us after lunch :D
we ate at Ikea, awesome food. but but but... there werent adequate utensils that day, so i learned a new tactic to eat chicken, which is to use two knife! good arm training, a new method for brian to work out HAHAHA, honestly it was that tiring and straining on my arm's muscle lol. joanne wanted to steeeeal the children's utensils, too bad there werent any either.
and they ran out of soft drinks! what luck, gah. so after lunch, we the thrifty people headed one floor down to buy rm1.50 free flow soft drink, me and joanne shared. one cup only full like shit already, that's the way they con us man. that's when steph yeap joined us when we were quite pathetically sipping our soft drinks on some bench. we laughed about singing at the doorway or something, and the glass breaking or something. and we honestly looked like we were in an airport waiting to board a plane LOOL.
after that, we went to see brian's stuff and went in Pets wonderland, i think. laughed at some animals -_-''
failed attempt at camwhoring -_-''
then give up, just take turns
went bowling too! joanne's really good, throughout the duration of my stay, i think she striked at least twice? and i tried bowling one round, first one masuk longkang straight, and guess what? 2nd one was sheer perfecto! the ball knocked down all pins, physics does come in handy at times. NOT.
i told them they had to dance ''shook me'' before each bowl, and true enough, steph managed a spare right afterthat? i left them shortly after 4, and heard that brian and steph took turns to bowl into the longkang. haha just ADMIT IT, u guys need my aura to be good :D
after that, me and my mom sat Putra down to KLCC for my dad to pick us up from there. waited for like 30 minutes at the main entrance, and mommy was infuriating adi :D had dinner with relatives, came back quite late that day!
Friday
went ou with my bosom friends (siewming, peiying, alina, cheehung and i) that night at 7pm to watch Ugly truth. the movie was scheduled at 9, so we had some time before of which we spend chatting in starbucks. alina and i shared our experiences on the trip to bukit angsi, had a good stomachy laugh :D sorry cheehung for teasing you that day, was abit too high. havent seen peiying in such a long time, finally managed to see her yesterday!! she's still the same ol' peiying :D
during the weekends, brian, bruce and me went to aquaria. brian attempted to plan for the whole of G3 but sadly, some couldnt make it and some were just...not interested.
anyway my parents fetch me to KLCC where i meet up with bruce and we walked around aimlessly for awhile, entered isetan in search for men's formal wear but to no avail because it was pretty expensive. *s'wak cheaper o.o*
and honestly, i cant shop in places like KLCC without my parents, i'll feel damn sad because i know i can never afford such rip off clothes like that with merely my allowance, simply not enough.
after walking up and down for what i also dunno, brian joined us and we headed off to the information counter to ask for directions to the aquaria. brian was amazed by how the women could actually remember the exact way of going anywhere, amazing. on the way we saw dinotrekk and i so want to go in okay! if only it was open....
aquaria was...er okaaay lor... bruce kept potong-ing stim saying s'pore's one was way better, cant deny though. i have never been to any underwater world before in any other countries, but i sure know malaysia's one is of no match to other countries' well known tourism area. worse thing was, i had to pay an extra whopping rm8 for i did not bring my student ID. gee, what luck, later on i shall add on to that.
the fishes were okay, i took the opportunity to take lotsa picture regardless of how lousy the whole place was because hey, i paid to enter okay. we saw alot of weird looking underwater organisms, with weird names i cannot remember already. me and brian did touched some fish i cant remember, felt pretty rough.
i dont understand, why got butterfly?
some were quite spectacular for me, some fishes were different and that i have never seen before. overall it was really just okay, ive been there once before on a school trip anyway, for me the underwater moving belt part was the best :D
look like smiling man
and the weird thing was, they actually sell non related stuff like tigers and bears and monkeys and snakes, reptiles and mammals in general, which i find it rather...intriguing for i thought it was an underwater thing aint? haha but some were really cutee. i bought myself and jillian something ngeheh shall give it to her on monday.
after aquaria, we had our lunch at the KLCC food court. some small boy kept bugging bruce to donate money, if not for my itchy mouth asking ''what's that'' in chinese i could have sworn the boy would relent and go away. but no, i just i had to ask -_-'' ended up, bruce gotta donate rm1 just to pacify the kid? its okay, charity xD
too bad twin tower's bridge wasnt open for visit, bruce's dream did not come true x)
after that, since we had some time to kill, i suggested we go timesquare for i needed to buy something for my sister, and it was a good chance to ''open'' brian's and bruce's eye. LOL, i told you stuff there are cheap, dont believe! *exactly what jillian told me last time* i zoom in and out from every shop in search for that vital thing, but it was either not the correct colour, or it was too expensive. then i ended up buying a bag for myself *slaps myself*
and lady luck was on my side AGAIN, i just had to hold the ring made of dunno what, and dropped it. it broke into pieces and bruce had to pay rm3 for it for i didnt have change. gah, what luck! i'll return you the money on monday!
feel kinda bad somehow for bringing them there, i think they were bored to the core :P for me, it was hallelujah!
after timesquare, brian drove us down to the LRT station, and me and bruce sat LRT back to our respective locations. some guy just had to keep staring, so freaky x) but i appreciate the experience of sitting LRT, KTM, monorel bla bla without my parents!
i suppose its the way we pose and the specific angle we face. because different people look best in different posture and no single person will ever look the same in every angle, at least that's what we thinkonlywhen we observed ourselves. thats why many a times we often stand in such a manner that allow us to project our most goodlooking side before taking a picture. but it always us being self-conscious dont you think? most of the time, people dont even realize you look different in this picture, or in thaat picture. but sometimes, whoaaah, the difference can be so big it doesnt really look like you anymore. maybe cause of photo shopped or what, i am of no expert to comment on that.
wouldnt it be very deceiving then to post pictures depicting YOU as a gorgeous looking, slim fat-less girl when infact u have an uglier sight of you in which you'll never in the world post? i have friends, not exactly friends, but acquaintance like that, which i find it very annoying because truth be told, they're actually quite fat and ugly in real. which brings us back to the importance of posing appropriately to bring out the best of you. very ironic isnt it?
if that's the case, everyone can be pretty in pictures am i right? just strut some pose at some specific angle, and voila, you'll be on your way to 'Simply fabulous' or 'i wanna be a model'. nowonder people like camwhoring, and true enough, and cannot be disputed, that camwhore pictures are always the nicest pictures taken ever. for girls lah, for guys, i shant comment on that.
i mean like, imagine if you were to sign up for some modelling agency or some match-making agency and you gave them some of your most drop-dead gorgeous pictures, got accepted for a photoshoot or for a match-making session, only to realize that you, in reality, aint that good looking for that matter, wouldnt it be very cheating in a way? imagine the look on your agent's face, or the look of them trying to cover the digust and disdain on their face. not very sightly aint?
some people hate candid pictures. because they think candid pictures of theirs are fugly, and very unsightly, for example, them opening their mouth and eating or them digging their nose in PUBLIC. but have you ever ponder over the fact that that IS EXACTLY HOW YOU LOOK normally? and that's the sight everyone see of you everyday and still approach you and accept you for who you really are? the reason people think candid pictures are ugly is because they seldom see themselves candidly. the only time u get a reflection of yourself is when you're infront of a mirror. but even then, you dont exactly see your candid look, u dont exactly see yourself eating, talking, mouth opening and all, do you? you only see someone looking at you, and you see that someone smiling, posing...you dare say you dont smile at the mirror and make yourself look good? no? then it defeats the purpose of having a mirror in the very primitive beginning.
if anyone dares to post up THEIR UGLIEST PICTURE ever ohemgee taken in their life, which of course needs to resemble them (dont go posting your baby picture because that doesnt count), i'll treat bubble tea.
i apologize deeply to those who feel offended, i was just wondering how two pictures can originate from the same person.
i suppose the best way is to be yourself in pictures, strut a smile that is beautiful and still looks you in every way possible, so as to not deceive people. walao quite hard right? the picture i used for my blog header already does not look like me. sigh.
if you dont know me, would you think they are off the same person?
kindly hit the X button on the top right corner if u may. highly suggested.
a side of me my college friends have never seen before. about to unveil just about.... now when you click start *gasp*
it happens like this. we thought the whole scenario was pretty amusing after the whole event, so we were making fun of piece and pieces here and there, only to realized that we can actually compose a song out of that, hence the origin of this lame song. it was very random, as you can see from the lyrics the verses have no link whatsoever :D
lyrics for the what. the. heck. song Ouch, ouch, Uncle can you take picture for me? *peace sign* (cute mode) Ouch ouch! Muscles cramp, muscles cramp, (sad mode) Muscle muscle muscle cramp! M-u-s-c-l-e-s C-r-a-m-p MUSCLE CRAMP! *yeak, show muscles* Carry me, carry me, (excited mode) Here I come ~ *jumps, ngek* Oh, I am so pushing it! (horny mode) Take time to realize (sing) my hot butt, my hot butt (poker face chorus) this is my hottest butt Tickle push, tickle push, (cool mode) Dancing ouch, Dancing ouch, (enjoy mode) Hrpmh, hrpmh, hrpmh hrpmh hrphm! (constipation) Motion out, motion out Oh, what's that smell? motion take and throw! Motion take and make mash potato! also, some funny antics of my friends i'll never forget :D
